Cilevi is a native screen recorder and video editor for Windows 10 and 11, built for product demos, tutorials and walkthroughs. Record a display, window or selected area with webcam, microphone and system audio. Automatic zooms, smooth cursor effects and styled backgrounds help create polished recordings. Its editor includes a multi-clip timeline, transitions, overlays, blur and mosaic regions, transcript-based editing and on-device captions in 99 languages. Export MP4 or GIF. Recording, editing, captions and export run locally. A full-feature seven-day trial is followed by a US$50 one-time purchase with no subscription.
I built Cilevi independently in C++ to make polished screen recordings and edit them in a native Windows app. Development began around April 2026 as a full-time, self-funded project. It is published by Doment Digital FZE LLC in the United Arab Emirates.
