About This Launch
CADProps is a free browser-based workspace for opening supported CAD and mesh files, inspecting geometry, checking dimensions and properties, comparing revisions, and exporting results where supported. STEP and IGES solid geometry can provide exact B-Rep measurements; mesh-derived properties are approximate. Mass requires user-confirmed density. Files are uploaded for server-side processing in a temporary guest workspace, and no account is required.
Why I Built This
The CADProps team built it around small recurring CAD tasks: checking a dimension, reviewing a revision, or gathering properties from files someone sent you. We wanted those checks to be available in a browser without installing a desktop application or creating an account.
