About This Launch
BudgetKind is a calm budgeting app for Android, available on Google Play in the US. The free manual tier needs no account, no card and shows no ads, and your data stays on your phone. Import statements as CSV, Excel, PDF, OFX or QIF, or bring in a Mint export. Monthly budgets show a clear left to spend, and bills are tracked. The optional Plus plan adds read-only bank sync through Plaid with a 14-day free trial billed through Google Play. A web version and iOS are planned.

Why I Built This
We wanted a budgeting app that is calm, private and has a real free plan, without ads or a steep yearly fee.
